Prior to working as a Jim’s Mowing Franchisee, Alan was employed as an Operations Manager in the Mining Industry, working with oil, gas and civil projects. He enjoys working outdoors and being able to help people maintain their properties. “Seeing the results of the hard work I put into a regular mow or garden maintenance jobs gives me great pleasure and also please to the client”, says Alan. Being a member of the Jim’s Mowing Franchise has given Alan the opportunity to work for a well known brand that he felt he could grow a successful mowing and gardening business. Also, having the flexibility to work the hours and days that he chooses drew him to this type of business. He is happily married with 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. His eldest daughter lives in Canada, his other daughter lives in Perth and has 2 children and his son lives in Melbourne. Alan enjoys going walking with his wife and 2 dogs and when the weather is good he likes to spend time at the beach.
